Most of our friends and family know this already, but for the others that are just following along on our journey, I thought I’d post an update. We are doing very good! The first trimester was horribly hard. I was sick around the clock. And not just nauseous, but I throwing up whether I ate or not. It was definitely one of the hardest things I’ve experienced. I was pretty much in bed for like 4 weeks straight. Thankfully around week 14 it started letting up and except for some serious food aversions, I haven’t had any other morning sickness. The baby is doing very well. In fact, we went for our anatomy scan almost 2 weeks ago and we found out it’s a……

GIRLl!!

Obviously our daughter, Cady, is very excited because she had already been saying it was a sister. 😉 We are all so very excited!! And since then I’ve been feeling the baby move and kick and squirm so we are very excited for this part of the pregnancy! It definitely feels a lot more real and tangible.
