“Lean in”…These two simple and vague words have weighed heavy on my mind lately. I wonder if the apostle “whom Jesus loved”, even understood the depths of what his words would mean, over two thousand years later, to a grieving momma. These words have replayed in my mind over and over these past few months, in a way I can’t describe. Like a gentle whisper beckoning me…
“Lean in”.
If you haven’t been a fly on my wall recently, there’s no way to adequately describe all that’s gone on in our family and home, and the trials we have been facing.
It’s been scary.
It’s been heart-wrenching.
It’s been devastating.
It’s been a lot of things.
But it’s also been full of God moments. Moments where He has poured out His love and peace. One thing I can confidently say, is…
God is good.
He is always good.
And He is faithful to see us through.
Since I know there are some who follow our blog and have been wondering what’s going on, I decided to take a few minutes and share the journey God has had us on and where we are now. In addition, I also shed some light on these two little words I shared above, and what they mean to me. It’s nothing profound, but maybe if you are in a difficult season, it will encourage you. Blessings my friends.
Lean in.❤️
