Well things are slowly moving along. Yesterday, we submitted a bunch of paperwork to our social worker and paid the application fee for their agency. We are using NightLight for our adoption and another agency, Family Life Services, for our homestudy because FLS is closer and we had actually worked with them with Cady’s adoption so it makes things a bit easier. SO we are preparing for the homestudy visit in 2 weeks and trying to make sure we get done everything we can, to make things go along a bit quicker.
I also started my smoothie regime today so that I can prepare my body better for the transfer and pregnancy. It’s much like the smoothies I made when I was inducing lactation to breastfeed Cady. I put in royal jelly, maca powder, camu camu powder, berries, a little brown sugar to sweeten it up some, almond milk and a banana. Basically this baby and I are going to be supercharged! 😀 I’m trying to help my body balance out any hormonal issues, provide the nutrients it needs to build up my uterine lining and support my liver function so that my body can be rid of any toxins that would be poisonous to the baby. I’m also taking pre-natal vitamins, evening primrose oil and liquid iodine, just to help all those things out as well. Phew! It’s some work, but I’m feeling good about it. I’m hoping that by doing these things, I won’t need any meds and I can do a natural cycle FET. Lord willing, that’s what I praying and preparing for!
